What is "browsing"?

If you don't have a particular Internet site or subject in mind, or if you're not exactly sure what you're looking for, browsing might be for you. Instead of typing in a keyword, you click from one category to the next, narrowing your search as you go along.

For example, if you have to do a report on an author, but you don't know which one, you'd first click the "School Bell" category. After looking at the subcategories, you'd likely choose "Language Arts" as being the most relevant one, and from there you'd see our "Authors" category. Click that, and you'll find a whole list of authors.
