What is the difference between the Columbia Encyclopedia and World Factbook?

The Columbia Encyclopedia is a comprehensive general information reference book containing articles on a wide range of subjects for a variety of fields. Articles are written by experts in their fields and are accompanied by photographs, illustrations, maps, charts, and diagrams.

World Factbook is the U.S. government's complete geographical handbook, featuring 267 full-color maps and flags of all nations. Each country profile tracks such demographics as population or ethnicity and literacy rates, as well as political, geographical, and economic data.
