We've made every effort to ensure that our cards can be viewed with most browsers. While the majority of our cards can be viewed easily by just clicking the link in your pickup notification email, we do offer some cards that require free software plug-ins.
If you access a card and can view the writing, but see a blank spot or a large "X" where the picture should be, it's possible that you don't have the required plug-in to play the animated image. Right now the two plug-ins that some of our cards require are:
Your browser should prompt you with a message about which plug-in it can't find, but if you are unsure of which of the above plug-ins you need, QuickTime will play both QuickTime files and basic Flash files and might be your best starting point.
When sending these animated cards please consider your audience. WebTV users can't view Flash media, and users behind firewalls or proxy servers (usually found at work or at libraries/universities) might have trouble viewing animated images.
