To disable IPv6 for Windows XP:

  1. Click Start | All Programs | Accessories | Command Prompt.
  2. At the Command prompt, type:

    netsh int ipv6 uninstall

  3. Press ENTER.
  4. Close the Command prompt window.
  5. Restart your computer.
