Why do I need to transfer my account to Monster?

Monster and HotJobs have joined together to create a new marketplace of jobs, seekers, and employers. In early 2011, the HotJobs website will be integrated with Monster. By allowing Yahoo! to transfer your HotJobs account information to Monster, you will be able to continue to take advantage of your job search account data (e.g., employment profile, resumes, cover letter, job alerts), plus the many new tools available on Monster. If you do not agree to allow Yahoo! to transfer your HotJobs information to a new Monster account, then all your HotJobs information will no longer be available to you following the integration of the sites.
