It's important to remember that your resume web page can be viewed by anyone who has the correct URL. Don't include information on your resume web page that you don't feel comfortable posting on a public web page.

Creating a personal web page can be an effective way of distributing your resume. Giving family, friends, or prospective employers access to your resume is as easy as giving them the URL. The URL for your resume will follow this form:

http://resumes.yahoo.com/yourYahoo!ID/resume_title

Monster+HotJobs won't offer public links to your resume web page or otherwise publicize it. Your resume web page won't be found in a search of Yahoo!'s web directory.

To remove your resume URL:

  1. Click the My Resumes tab.
  2. Click the + tab to the left of the resume title.
  3. In the menu that appears below the resume title, click the Deactivate URL link next to the URL for your resume title.
