You can change the color theme or the page width using the Page Options drop-down menu located near the top right of the Yahoo! Homepage.

Choose a narrow layout if you need to conserve screen real estate while viewing the Yahoo! Homepage. After you select this choice, the Yahoo! Homepage is reformatted to a narrower width. Some page content, such as Yahoo! Services, appears in a new format that better fits the narrow page layout. Other content might be relocated within the page. As a consequence, you might have to scroll down to view some content that was previously visible without scrolling. Web pages other than the Yahoo! Homepage are not affected by this change. To switch back to a wide layout, select Switch to wide layout from the Page Options drop-down menu.

The next time you go to the Yahoo! Homepage, your highlight and page width preferences remain intact.
