In a Points League, the league commissioner selects the scoring categories for your league and assigns a value to each category.

From your league overview page, please click the "League Settings" link in the "League Info" box to view your league's configuration.

After each scoring category is a number in parentheses (x). This number is the value associated with that category.

For every on-ice action, points are applied in every scoring category that action relates to. So, if a goal is worth one point in your league and a power-play goal is worth three points, a player scoring a power-play goal would be awarded a total of four (1 + 3 = 4) points.
