When placing a player on injured reserve (IR), please be sure to move the player in tomorrow's lineup. Since players added via free agency or waivers are officially added to your roster on the following day, you are prompted to drop a player if there is no roster opening.

To do this, click the "Edit Lineup" link from your team page or click the link that displays tomorrow's date. From there, you can select the "IR" option from the player's pull-down menu. Be sure to click "Submit Changes" to complete the move.

After the player has been moved to the IR, you have the option of adding a new player without dropping a player currently on your roster. Simply click the "Empty" link when you're prompted to drop a player.
