If you receive a notice that your waiver claim was denied, this indicates that another team in your league with a higher waiver priority claimed that player.
Please consider the following when reviewing your league's waiver priority list:
- If you're viewing the list after a claim has been processed, the team at the bottom of the list is always the team that was most recently awarded a player.
So, if you're in a 12-team league and you view the waiver order after a claim was processed, the team sitting in the No. 12 position is always the team that just claimed a player.
- In a 12-team league, teams are ranked from 1 (best waiver position) to 12 (worst waiver position).
- When a player is added via free agency, that team does not forfeit its waiver priority position. Only waiver claims force such a move. The last team to acquire a new player does not always hold the lowest waiver priority.
