Public Leagues:
Public Leagues include managers from all across the globe who are randomly assigned to a league based on the type of scoring and drafting they want to use.

It isn't possible to join a particular Public League. If you have friends or associates with whom you want to participate, you need to create a Custom League.

All Public Leagues use the same default settings.

Custom Leagues:
It's important to remember that Custom Leagues are under complete control of the league commissioner.

Yahoo! does not interfere in Custom League matters and cannot help resolve disputes between the commissioner and league members.

Custom Leagues allow friends, colleagues and family members to compete directly with one another. One person must serve as league commissioner, and create the league and customize its settings. The commissioner would then also need to invite other members to join by supplying them with the necessary League ID# and password.

Note: You can join any combination of four leagues (Public or Custom; Head-to-Head, Rotisserie, or Fantasy Points) with a single Yahoo! ID.
