What is the difference between a Recruiter ID and a Yahoo! ID?
A Recruiter ID is used only in HotJobs. It's the user name that HotJobs customers use to sign in to the HotJobs Recruitment Center. Unlike before, in this new Recruitment Center, each user has only one unique ID and password combination for all the recruiter products. It's formatted as the user's email address, as in janedoe@company.com.
We created the Recruiter ID because the Recruitment Center involves business transactions and has more sensitive functionality than some other Yahoo! sites.
The Yahoo! ID is a user name that someone creates for use anywhere on the Yahoo! network.
