What's the difference between taking down a job and deleting a job?

Taking down a posted job makes it inactive. It will no longer appear with posted jobs, and job seekers will not be able to find it in a search. However, the job information stays in the database and the job can be reposted at any time.

Deleting a job removes it from the Yahoo! HotJobs database entirely. You will not be able to repost this job, and will have to re-create it if you want to use it again. When you delete a job, you also delete the link to all candidate records previously associated with it.

Note: You can only delete a non-posted job. If you want to delete a posted job, you must first take it down, then delete it.
