Default order: By default, your groups are sorted as follows:

1. Groups you own (owner status)
2. Groups you moderate (moderator status)
3. Groups you belong to (member status)

Within each of these categories, your groups are sorted alphanumerically.

Custom order: You can rearrange the groups in whatever order you choose so that your favorite groups are easily accessible.

If you've customized the order, you can always return to the default order by clicking Use Default Order at the bottom of the list. Likewise, if you want to return to your custom order, you can do so by clicking Use Custom Order below the list.
