Press * on the keypad, scroll to Mail, and choose Options > Settings.

Depending on the device, there is a list of the following options:

• Enable alerts for new mail. The alerts include a sound and an ! icon next to Mail.
• Require confirmation for the functions Delete, Mark as spam, and Move.

After you make a change, choose Options > Save.
