You can use Yahoo! Maps to find either a specific business or a type of business. To use this feature, go to the main Yahoo! Maps page and click on the Find a Business tab in the upper left corner. In the text entry boxes that appear, type the name of the business and the location, then click Search.

For example, if you would like to find all of the pizzerias in Sunnyvale, CA, type "pizzeria" into the first box, then "Sunnyvale, CA" in the second box. If, on the other hand, you would like to find a specific pizzeria, type its name into the business box, and then the location in the address box.

In the left hand column, the names and addresses of matching businesses will appear; on the map, the locations of each business will be marked with an orange bubble.

If you would like to refine the results of your business search, click on Narrow by Category, which appears above the list of results on the left side of the screen. Click on the category by which you would like to narrow your results, and your results list will update accordingly.
