To create a new subdirectory:

1. Open your File Manager by clicking the "File Manager" link on the Create & Update, Manage, or Index tabs of your GeoCities Control Panel.
2. Navigate to the folder in which you want to create a new subdirectory. For example, if you want to create a new subdirectory in a folder called sample_folder, click the "sample_folder" link in File Manager to open that subdirectory.
3. Click the "New" button under Subdirectories at the bottom of File Manager. (If you're using GeoCities Plus or Pro, click the "Create Subdirectory" link near the top-right corner of your File Manager.)
4. On the following page, enter a name for the new subdirectory in the "Subdirectory Name" text box.
5. Click the "Create Subdirectory" button.

You will return to your File Manager, where you'll see a confirmation that you have successfully created your new subdirectory.
