When you sign up for GeoCities, we'll automatically create a web address that you can use to view your web site after you have created and published it. To view your site, you or a site visitor will just need to enter your web address in the address bar of a browser.
If you have a GeoCities Free or GeoCities Plus plan, your web address includes the address of the GeoCities home page plus your Yahoo! ID, written like this: http://www.geocities.com/yourYahoo!ID.
When you sign up for GeoCities Pro, you can select a personalized domain name or choose to use one you already own with your plan. With a personalized domain name, you can view your web site at your GeoCities web address (e.g. http://www.geocities.com/widgetdesigns) or at either of the following addresses:
