How are return yards and touchdowns scored?

Public Leagues:
All Public Leagues receive scoring for individual players for the "Return Touchdown" category. "Return Yards" is not used as a category in Public Leagues.
Points for these plays are not counted for defensive teams in Public Leagues.

Custom Leagues:
If you select "Return Yards" and "Return TD" under the offensive scoring categories in Custom Leagues, then you receive scoring for any individual players that return kickoffs and punts. This includes individual defensive players if your league uses them.

If you select these categories under Defensive Teams scoring, then points for kickoff and punt returns are awarded to the team defense.

Therefore, if you have Tim Brown on your roster and have selected to allow points for return yards and TDs to team defenses, the team with the Oakland defense would receive scoring for any yards and TDs earned on returns by Brown.

Commissioners also have the ability to allow points for return yards and touchdowns for both individual players and team defenses by selecting the checkboxes under each section.

Return yards are not counted for these plays.
