Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football PLUS runs throughout the entire 2008 football regular season, which begins at 12:01 AM PT on Thursday, September 4, and is scheduled to end at 11:59 PM PT on Sunday, December 28.
Sign-ups begin in early June and continue through Friday, October 17.
For the purposes of this game, the U.S. professional football season is divided into a series of "Game Weeks." The first Game Week begins on Tuesday, September 2 at 12:01 AM PT and ends on the following Monday, September 7 at 11:59 PM PT. Subsequent Game Weeks follow the same schedule, beginning Tuesday morning and ending Monday evening.
If you sign-up after a Game Week is already underway, your team/league will not begin its season until the start of the following week. Please also keep in mind that you'll only receive fantasy points for professional football contests which begin and are played after your league's initial draft has taken place.
However, if you've joined or created a Custom League, the commissioner may opt to run a retroactive stats update which would result in the addition of stats accumulated in games completed prior to your league's draft. As a result, your team may be credited with wins/losses from Game Weeks completed prior to your draft.
