When you see an asterisk (*) next to a player's weekly fantasy point total, this indicates that the player earned points in a category not normally associated with his position.

Each player on your roster earns points in each scoring category selected for individual players in your league.

These most commonly appear when an offensive player records a tackle after a turnover or on a special teams play and your league uses tackles as a category for individual defensive players.

Similarly, if a kicker completes or receives a pass during a fake field goal attempt, the points for these categories appear along with the asterisk.

If you see an asterisk, please review the box score and your league settings to determine which scoring category the player earned points in.
