Please keep the following in mind when creating a league and inviting members:
- It isn't possible for the commissioner to create all the teams in a Custom League and later assign them to different Yahoo! accounts.
- Each manager must join your league using their personal Yahoo! ID. Since each Yahoo! account can create only four teams, it isn't possible for the commissioner to create all the teams.
- Yahoo! doesn't add teams to a Custom League and it isn't possible to modify a Custom League so that Public League entries are placed in that league.
- Custom Leagues draft with as few as four teams present in the league. If you've created a league and set a limit of 12 teams, there's no guarantee that 12 teams will join your league. That's simply the maximum number of teams that are allowed to join your league.
If you're creating a Custom League, it's best to do so only when you have a group of interested participants who are ready to join your league.
There are two ways for managers to find your league:

League Invitations: After you've created your league, you can click "Commissioner Tools" and then "Invite Managers" to send invitations. You then enter the email address for each potential manager and Yahoo! sends an email that includes the league ID number, password, and your personal note.

Available Leagues List: Again using the Commissioner Tools, you can select the option to "Publish" your league. If you select this option, your league is added to the list of available leagues that managers can browse.
Using this option does not make your league a Public League and there's no guarantee that your league will fill if published.
