Ideally, you should know your Custom League commissioner either personally or through participation in a previous Yahoo! Sports Fantasy league. Custom Leagues consisting of friends, family, or co-workers are great because managers tend to be in close contact and usually have similar activity and skill levels.

When joining a Custom League, please remember that the commissioner of the league has full authority over all league matters. The tools and authorities available to Custom League commissioners give them the ability to:

• Lock teams from posting on the message board, trading, adding/dropping players, roster moves, and changing team name.
• Remove posts from the message board.
• Change rosters for any completed week of the season (including the current week).

The commissioner can exercise any of these authorities at any time and without explanation to league members.
