Managers do not have the option of allowing or disallowing commissioner control. Among other things, this allows commissioners to adjust rosters and past lineups to reflect any offline league rules not supported by the automated Yahoo! scoring system.

This also allows commissioners to assume control of dormant teams or teams that for any reason are no longer participating in the league. This was often impossible when the commish control option existed.

While we hope that commissioners exercise this authority in good faith, Yahoo! will not become involved in disputes between league commissioners and league managers.
