Analysts must meet several criteria in order for their performance to be displayed in the Yahoo! Analyst Performance Center. First, the analyst must have a minimum amount of coverage for the specific stock or industry being measured. To be rated in an industry, typically an analyst needs to cover at least 4 stocks in that industry for at least 75 percent of the period being evaluated. Second, the analyst must rank in the top half of qualified analysts to be displayed, and if given a star rating, must rate at least 4 stars.
