How do I enable JavaScript on my browser?

To enable JavaScript, follow the instructions below for your browser.

Internet Explorer 5.5 or newer for Windows:

  1. Go to the "Tools" menu.
  2. Click "Internet Options."
  3. Click the "Security" tab.
  4. Click the "Custom Level" button.
  5. Scroll to the "Scripting" section.
  6. Select "Enable" under "Active scripting."
  7. Select "Enable" under "Allow paste operations via script."
  8. Select "Enable" under "Scripting of Java applets."
  9. Click the "OK" button.

Netscape 7.2 or newer for Windows:

  1. Go to the "Edit" menu.
  2. Click "Preferences."
  3. Click "Advanced."
  4. Select the sub-item labeled "Scripts & Plugins."
  5. Click "Navigator" under "Enable JavaScript for."
  6. In the "Allow Scripts to" pane, make sure the items regarding cookies are checked.
  7. Click the "OK" button.

Mozilla 1.6, 1.7.3 for Windows:

  1. Go to the "Edit" menu.
  2. Click "Preferences."
  3. Click the plus sign next to "Advanced" to show Advanced options.
  4. Click "Scripts & Plugins."
  5. Click the checkbox next to "Navigator" under "Enable JavaScript for."
  6. Click the "OK" button.

Firefox 1.0 for Windows:

  1. Go to the "Firefox" menu.
  2. Select "Preferences."
  3. Click the "Enable JavaScript" checkbox.
  4. Click the "OK" button.

Safari 1.2 for Macintosh:

  1. Go to the "Safari" menu.
  2. Click "Preferences."
  3. Click the "Security" icon.
  4. Click checkbox next to "Enable JavaScript."
  5. Close the dialog window.
  6. Click the Reload button in the browser's row of icons in the EGXpress window.

Firefox 1.0 for Macintosh:

  1. Go to the "Firefox" menu.
  2. Select "Preferences."
  3. Click "Web Features."
  4. Check the "Enable JavaScript" checkbox.
