How can I find a school?

There are several ways to search for a school. If you are looking for a particular school, you can enter the school's name, or part of the school's name, in the search box on our college search page and click "Search." When you find the school you are looking for, you can go to a "More info" page for information about student body, sports, majors, etc.

If you would like to find a school in a particular location, or search by size, setting, tuition, or average GPA, you can use our advanced college search. Advanced search allows you to pick one or more states and/or a region (e.g., the Southwest.) To pick multiple states, hold down the "Ctrl" or "Command" key while you select your states. You can also narrow your search based on size, average GPA, tuition, sports, setting, and public/private options. Then click "Search."

You can also search for colleges outside the U.S. by using our international college search. It is located at the bottom of our college search page. Pick one or more countries outside of the U.S. (again using the "Ctrl" or "Command" key to select multiple countries) to search by.
