If you are submitting a non-commercial web site, you have two options for suggesting your site to Yahoo!.

If you would like to be guaranteed a review and response to your submission, please suggest your site using our fee-based Yahoo! Directory Submit process. For more information about Yahoo! Directory Submit, please read our Directory Submit FAQs.

Alternately, you might suggest your non-commercial site to non-commercial categories using our free Standard Submission process. Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to guarantee a review of every site submitted through the Standard Submission process.

If your site was not added following an initial submission and you want to resubmit it via our Standard Submission process, please wait two to three weeks between submissions. If you submit more often than that, your submissions to Yahoo! run the risk of being considered spam and could possibly be dropped from consideration. To avoid this, pick one category to submit to and submit your site every two to three weeks. We understand that you might want to submit your site to many different categories, but please pick the most appropriate category and use the space provided on the submission form to suggest any additional categories you think apply.

If you think you might have spammed your submission inadvertently and are worried that your site might not be reviewed, please wait two weeks and follow the guidelines outlined above.
