If you want to remove your free non-commercial site listing from the Yahoo! Directory, use the Listing Change Request form. Indicate in the Additional Information area the name of your site and that you'd like your listing deleted. For security purposes, we need you to provide the Security Email ID which was the original email address used to submit the site.

  1. Go to the Yahoo! Directory Listing Change Request form.
  2. Enter in the form message box:
    • That you're requesting your site be deleted from Yahoo! Directory.
    • The name of your site.
    • The original Security Email ID that was used when submitting the site to Yahoo! Directory. (This is used for security purposes.)

Note: If you don't have the original Security Email ID, you can submit your current email address on the Listing Change Request form in the Additional Information area, please briefly explain the situation and give your business phone number. If you have any other information about the original email address used in the original submission request, please include it, as this could be helpful to us while investigating this issue.
  3. Then submit the form.

When the request is processed, the listing will be deleted from the Yahoo! Directory, but it will not necessarily be deleted from Web Search results.
