Is your site regionally specific?

Local business? Regional history? neighborhood sports club? If a site is of particular interest or relevance to a specific geographic region, it is listed in a regional category.

For example, a museum in New York city would be listed within the "regional" area of the Directory specific to New York Museums.

Regional > U.S. States > New York > Cities > Manhattan > Entertainment and Arts > Museums and Exhibits

If a site is both regionally specific and commercial, it is listed in the appropriate Business and Shopping regional category. For example, a business selling art in New York city would be listed at:

Regional > U.S. States > New York > Cities > Manhattan > Business and Shopping > Shopping and Services > Arts and Crafts > Galleries

Certain categories (such as Lodging, Real Estate, and Internet Services) do not offer a "Suggest a Site" link option except at the specific regional category area. If you don't see a "Suggest a Site" link on a Directory category page, it might be a category that only accepts submissions at the regional level, or at a deeper, more specific level.

For example, a site for a hotel in San Francisco would be listed within the regional category:

Regional > U.S. States > California > Cities > San Francisco > Travel and Transportation > Lodging > Hotels

The hotel site added to this regional category, not only appears in the listings for hotels in the city of San Francisco, but is also accessible when browsing "by region" at:
