What does the "@" sign at the end of some categories mean?

The "@" sign that appears at the end of a particular category name signifies that the category is listed in multiple places within the Yahoo! Directory.

For example, a fashion category might be listed in both the Arts section or "category" of the Directory and the Society and Culture category. Or, a specific musical merchandise category might be relevant to, and therefore listed in both the Business and Economy section and the Entertainment > Music section. When a category is relevant in two or more places we link it to the other categories. This allows relevant sites in related subjects to be viewed in one place.

If you click any category that is linked from another area in the Directory (linked categories display an "@" sign), you are taken to its primary location within the Yahoo! Directory. For example, from the large and general Business and Economy category, clicking Business and Economy > Business Weblogs@ takes you to the area of the Directory where "Business Weblogs" is primarily located, Computers and Internet > Internet > World Wide Web > Weblogs > Business >.

Note: You can always see where you are in the Directory by referring to the category title and Directory category navigation links in the blue bar below the search box.
