The Yahoo! Network is how we refer to all the services, products, and features Yahoo! offers online. The Yahoo! Network is the ever-growing collection of online guides, tools, services, and features built by Yahoo!. The Yahoo! homepage—offers links to most of the services available across the Yahoo! Network
- The Yahoo! Directory is a subject-based guide to websites and web content. The Directory is one part of the entire Yahoo! Network.
- The Yahoo! Network offers tools and services in many areas including media (sports, news, entertainment, etc.), commerce (shopping, small business, etc.), and community and communication (email, instant messages, clubs, message boards, web publishing, etc.). Many of the tools and services available on the Yahoo! Network are 100% free.
Using the tools of the Yahoo! Network, you can, among other things

Network allows you to do just about anything online—read news, follow sports, check weather, participate in chats, make travel plans (even book and check on flights), look for jobs, share photographs, store information and files, create address books and calendars, pay bills, access wireless information, and much more.
The web addresses (URLs) of most tools and features on the Yahoo! Network are based on the name of the service. So, the address for Yahoo! Calendar is calendar.yahoo.com, while Yahoo! Travel is travel.yahoo.com.
And now, you can use a special shortcut to reach just about anything on the Yahoo! Network. Type the feature name followed by an exclamation point "!" in the search box on the (Yahoo! homepage). For example:

- Type "mail!" for Yahoo! Mail.
- Type "finance!" to go to Yahoo! Finance. etc.
