Currently, you can only upgrade your ad from a Basic Ad to a Featured Ad if it's in the For Sale or Pets categories. All other categories must be upgraded at the time the ad is created.

If you want to upgrade your ad and it's eligible for upgrade, you'll see an "Upgrade" button under your listing on your My Classifieds page.

To upgrade an eligible ad:

1. Click "Upgrade". You'll see the price and the benefits of upgrading.
2. Click "Proceed to Billing".
3. Enter your billing information.
4. Click "Place Order".

You'll see an order confirmation screen and receive a confirmation email. Upgrades take about an hour to be reflected on the site.

Upgrading your listing will not extend your ad past its original expiration date in most categories. The exception to this is the For Sale category; because you're going from a free listing to a paid listing, you'll receive an additional 30 days on your listing.
