You can find your ad by either going to your My Classifieds page or by searching for your item on the Yahoo! Classifieds site.

My Classifieds

This is where you can view or check the status of your ad. If you've chosen a paid listing and it says "Not Posted," then your ad has not been purchased and will not appear in our search results. To purchase your ad, click the "Post Now" link. If the ad status says "Basic" or "Featured," then your ad is available to millions of Yahoo! users. You can search for your ad using the instructions below.

If you had selected a free "For Sale" ad and you don't see it in your "My Classifieds" page, then the ad wasn't completed. Please resubmit your listing and ensure that you follow the prompts to the confirmation page.

Remember that when you submit, edit, or delete an ad, it could take a couple of hours for those changes to take effect. You can always see the most up-to-date versions of your ads by clicking on "My Classifieds," but due to the update time lag, this version might not be the same version that people see when they browse.

Searching for Your Ad

From Yahoo! Classifieds, click on the category in which your ad was posted (e.g., For Sale Antiques & Collectibles). You can also find your listing by performing a keyword search which matches your listing.

Make sure you're browsing or searching the geographic location in which your ad was posted (e.g., San Francisco, CA). If you're not in the correct location, then click "Change Location" at the top of the search results page or enter your location in the "Modify your Search" box to the right of the listing results.

Use the subcategory links on the left side of the page to browse down to your ad or use the search box at the top left to search for key words from your ad.
