The “Buzz up!” and “Buzz down” buttons on Yahoo Buzz represent your votes! If you like a piece of content and want to raise its Buzz Score so that others will see it too, click “Buzz up!”. If you don’t like a piece of content, click “Buzz down”.

You can vote for a piece of content either on the Yahoo Buzz website, or on many publishers' own websites (just look for the blue “Buzz up!” or “b” button near content on participating publishers’ websites).

As well, you can also increase a piece of content’s ranking on Buzz commenting on it, or by clicking “Send” and sending it to a friend over email from Buzz.
