How long does it take to process a trade?

When you propose a trade, the other team can take up to 10 days to act on your offer.

If you don't receive an email indicating the trade has been accepted, rejected, or countered, and if the trade still shows as offered on your team page, the other team probably hasn't made a decision.

If you receive a trade notification email, and the trade proposal does't appear on your home page, then the proposed trade has been canceled by the team that proposed it.

If you're in a Custom League and receive a trade notification email that the proposed trade has been vetoed, contact your league commissioner and the league's managers. Yahoo! Sports does not accept or veto trades within leagues.

It's in your best interest to monitor your trade offers and cancel them when they're no longer desirable. If you do not cancel an offer, the other team can still accept it for up to 10 days, even if you've changed your mind.

When a trade proposal has been accepted, the teams involved in the trade can no longer cancel the deal. At this point, the trade is approved or rejected by the league commissioner or league managers (Custom Leagues) or the league managers (Public Leagues).

Additionally, when a trade proposal has been accepted, no player involved in the trade can be dropped or waived.
