Any non head-to-head Custom League that completes its draft after the start of the NBA season can elect to have their stats made retroactive to the start of the season. The commissioner can choose to use this option during the league creation or set it at any time prior to the draft date via the Edit League Settings page. Retroactive stats always go back to the beginning of the regular season.
When your league's draft is complete, this setting cannot be changed.
After your league has drafted, the commissioner has the next seven days to select the date on which your retroactive stats are run; there are seven days from which to choose.
By 11:59 p.m. PT on the night before the retroactive stats are to be run, all teams should have set their starting lineups to contain the players they want to receive retroactive stats for. All teams are only given retroactive stats for one lineup, so the team that is set on this day acts as though it was active for the entire season.
When the retroactive stats have been run, the league begins to function like any other.
If the commissioner doesn't set a retroactive stat date within the seven-day window, the league starts to receive stats on the following (eighth) day—without any retroactive stats.
