Do I need to change my roster every day?

You do not need to change your roster every day.

However, it is in your best interest to monitor your team closely throughout the season. This way, you can make sure that the players in your starting lineup are not injured, in the minor leagues, or otherwise missing games.

If new information about a player is available, a graphic note icon will be displayed next to their name. Click on this icon to read the updated player information.

Please consider the following when making daily lineup changes:

Rotisserie Leagues: Most rotisserie leagues feature games played and innings pitched limits. If such a limit exists in your league, a "Maximum Games Played" link will appear near the bottom of your team page.

It is important to consider these limits when making lineup changes. For example, if your league features a 162-game limit and your starting third baseman plays 162 games for the season, you will RUN OUT of games prior to the end of the season if you regularly sub in a different third baseman when your starter does not have a game scheduled.

Head-to-Head Leagues: There are no games played or innings pitched limits in Head-to-Head leagues. In most cases, it is in your best interest to sub players from bench to active positions if your regular starter has a day off.

However, you should consider how you stand against your opponent in various categories to determine if the move is in your best interests. For example, you may want to leave a pitcher on your bench if you hold a slight advantage in the ERA category on the final day of the matchup.
