How are Head-to-Head wins/losses determined?

In Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Baseball PLUS leagues, Head-to-Head scoring will vary based on league type:

Standard Head-to-Head scoring:

At the end of the week, you will receive one win for every category that you won (beat your opponent) and one loss for every category that you lost (defeated by your opponent).

It is important to remember that there are no daily wins/losses accumulated in a Head-to-Head league.

Each category in a Head-to-Head matchup represents one game. The duration of your Head-to-Head matchup is one week—beginning on Monday and concluding on Sunday.

You will see a score displayed on your league overview page as the week progresses. For example, after Wednesday's games have been completed, you may be leading your opponent 6-4.

This indicates that you are leading in six categories and trailing in four categories after Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday totals have been added together. This does not mean you have won six games or won Wednesday's matchup.

In a Head-to-Head league, seven days of statistics are added to arrive at the weekly total for each team. You will receive one win for each category that you outperformed your opponent in and one loss for each category in which you were outperformed by your opponent.

Head-to-Head, One Win scoring:

If your PLUS league utilizes the One Win scoring format, category wins and losses are determined in the same manner. However, unlike standard leagues, each category win/loss does not equal a win/loss in the standings.

Instead, category wins and losses essentially serve as the score for your matchup, and you will be credited with a single win, loss, or tie in the standings based on that score.

So, if you win six categories for the week and lose four, you will be credited with a win in the standings. Similarly, if you lose seven categories and win only three, you will suffer a loss. If your matchup is tied (5-5, 4-4, etc.), each team will be credited with a tie in the standings.

Head-to-Head, Fantasy Points:

These leagues utilize a scoring format similar to what you would find in a typical head-to-head Fantasy Football league. The commissioner assigns a point value to each category, and your team receives a score for the week based on how many points you accumulate across all categories.

To view the point modifiers associated with each category in your league, click the "League Settings" link located on your league home page. At the end of the week, you receive a total score which is the sum of the points you earned in all categories.

You receive one win, loss, or tie in the standings each week based on how your score compares to the total accumulated by your opponent.
