Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball PLUS runs throughout the entire 2009 baseball regular season, which begins on Sunday, April 5 and is scheduled to end on Sunday, October 4.

Full season registration begins on Tuesday, February 10 and continues until Saturday, May 2.

Registration for the midseason game begins on Monday, May 18 and continues until Saturday, June 21. The midseason Contest will begin with the games played on Monday, June 22.

For the purposes of this game, the U.S. professional baseball season is divided into a series of "Game Weeks." The first Game Week begins on Monday, March 30 and ends Sunday, April 12. The final Game Week begins on Monday, September 21 and ends Sunday, October 4. All other Game Weeks begin every Monday at 12:00 AM (midnight) PT and run through the following Sunday at 11:59:59 PM PT.

If you sign-up after a Game Week is already underway, your team/league will not begin its season until the start of the following week. Please also keep in mind that you will only receive fantasy points for professional baseball games which begin and are played after your league's initial draft has taken place.

However, if you have joined or created a Custom League, the commissioner may opt to run a retroactive stats update, which would result in the addition of stats accumulated in games completed prior to your league's draft. As a result, your team may be credited with wins/losses from Game Weeks completed prior to your draft.
