If you are using Netscape and are having problems loading or running the Live Draft client, please try the following:
- Make sure that you test your system. If the tester returns "Failed", then you most likely have a network firewall issue. If the tester doesn't launch or display, then read on.
- The tester may fail if you do not have a recent version of Adobe Flash Player installed. While the draft tester will attempt to automatically upgrade Flash for you, this does not always prove 100% successful. You may need to manually upgrade Flash and try the draft tester again.
- Make sure that you have Java enabled:
- Select Preferences from the Edit menu.
- Highlight the Advanced option.
- Check both the Enable Java and Enable JavaScript boxes.
- Click OK to save.
- Choose Preferences from the Edit menu and click on the Advanced option. Once there, click on the Cache subcategory so that it is highlighted. Then, if you are using version 6.x, check to make sure that the "Compare the page in the cache to the page on the network:" option is set to Automatically. If you are running Netscape 4.x, make sure that "Once per session" is selected.
