Public Leagues:

Public Leagues include managers from all across the globe who are randomly assigned to a league based on the type of scoring and drafting they wish to use.

It is not possible to join a particular Public League. If you have friends or associates with whom you wish to participate, you will need to create a Custom League.

All Public Leagues use the same default settings.

Custom Leagues:

Custom Leagues allow friends, colleagues and family members to compete directly with one another. One person must serve as league commissioner, create the league, and customize its settings. The commissioner then also needs to invite other members to join by supplying them with the necessary League ID# and password.

Note: You can join any combination of four leagues (Public or Custom; Head-to-Head, Rotisserie, or Fantasy Points) with a single Yahoo! ID.
