When you create an avatar on Yahoo! Avatars and you use Yahoo! Travel's Trip Planner, your avatar is automatically displayed on your trip's page.

Also, if you have an avatar and comment on someone's trip on Trip Planner, your avatar is displayed next to your comment.

Deleting your avatar should clear it from your Yahoo! Trip Planner pages.

Note: At this time, avatars can't be disabled for a specific alias. Your avatar is displayed for your Yahoo! ID and all profiles associated with that ID everywhere avatars can be used on Yahoo!.
