There are two ways to report auctions that might have illegal or inappropriate content. These auctions might be in violation of the Yahoo! Terms of Service or Yahoo! Auctions Guidelines.
The first method is Neighborhood Watch. The Neighborhood Watch Program allows our Yahoo! Auctions community to voice their opinion about the auctions that run on our site.
Anyone with a positive rating can participate in the Neighborhood Watch Program. If you see an auction that you believe to be in violation of the Yahoo! Auctions Guidelines, rate it! This helps our Customer Care department identify auctions that are:
When a specific number of negative opinions have been accrued on an auction, the seller of the auction is notified by email. The seller should then take action and cancel the auction if inappropriate. If the auction is not canceled and continues to receive negative opinions, our Customer Care department is notified and takes any necessary action against the seller.
Yahoo! Auctions is never deleted automatically by the system. Our Customer Care department reviews each auction and decide on the appropriate course of action, pursuant to the Additional Terms of Service.
The second method is to complete an Abuse Feedback Form. Please be sure to include the auction ID for the auction that you are reporting.
