Respectfully expressed strong opinions that contribute to useful knowledge for the community are OK on Yahoo! Answers. However, questions and answers that express hate and intolerance have no place on Yahoo! Answers and should be reported. Do not use slurs to refer to groups of people, do not insult other members, and do not act in a belligerent manner towards others.

If you see something that is personally offensive to you but does not violate the Yahoo! Answers Community Guidelines or Terms of Service, please do not report it. It’s also not OK to report someone because you disagree with that person’s opinion.

It is up to each member to report people who engage in this kind of behavior, and to refrain from participating in a similar manner. Everyone has opinions, and it’s what makes Answers vibrant and fun, so report the violations and move on.
