Merge Preview gives you a preview of the merge. It’s what the consolidated contact info will look like if you agree to put all the information for one contact together in one entry.

If you see information in Merge Preview that you do not want to keep in the final contact entry, you can do two things:

1. In the “Duplicates” pane, un-check “Merge this duplicate” for the contact info you don’t want included in the merged contact. Watch how Merge Preview adjusts to reflect your change!
2. Or, in the “Merge Preview” pane, click Edit near the information you want to edit—and then edit it.
