You can decide how it should resolve a conflict when Yahoo! Autosync finds information that seems contradictory, like same names with different contact info. Here’s how:

1. In the Autosync menu, click Advanced Settings.
2. Click Filters & Mapping.
3. Click Conflict Resolution. You’ll have these methods to choose from:
   1. Add all conflicting items: Conflicting information is not merged or replaced. For each system, a new record containing the information on the other system is created.
   2. Ignore all conflicting items: No changes are made to either system.
   3. Notify me when conflicts occur: (default). You are prompted to determine how to resolve conflicts during synchronization.
   4. Yahoo! Wins: The record on the desktop PIM is replaced with the record from the other application.
   5. Outlook Wins: The record on Yahoo! is replaced with the record from the desktop PIM.
