The first time, it may take a few minutes. This is because on its first pass, Yahoo! Autosync scans both systems for duplicates.

If there’s a potential duplicate but the data isn’t exactly the same, Yahoo! Autosync will ask you to select which fields to keep and which to discard. Once you’ve reviewed all the potential conflicts for Address Book, you’ll be guided through the same process for Calendar, Tasks, and Notes, one by one.

The more information you have, the longer it will take. But you won’t have to do this again unless you either uninstall and reinstall Yahoo! Autosync, or change computers, or change your Yahoo! user ID.

Each subsequent update will be much faster!
