What are Privacy Settings?

Privacy Settings let you control who can view the content you share on your Yahoo! 360° page and who can communicate with you on Yahoo! 360°.
Your choices for Privacy Settings are:
  • Public (Everyone) – Anyone who visits your Yahoo! 360° page will be able to view your content. Your content may also appear in search results on search engines. For communication settings, any Yahoo! 360° member will be able to communicate with you.
  • Friends of Friends of Friends– These are Yahoo! 360° members who are connected to you through to other people. For example: You>Bill>Jill Friend of a Friend of a Friend
  • Friends of Friends – Yahoo! 360° members who share a mutual friend with you. For example: You>Bill>Friend of Friend.
  • Friends – These are people who are connected directly to you. With friends, you can set privacy settings to either "All Friends" or specific categories of friends.
  • Just Me – This means private, just you.
See "How do I control who can contact me?" and "How do I control who can view my content?" for instructions on how to use the Privacy Settings.
