Yahoo! 360° makes it easy to stay connected to friends and family. With blogs, photos, lists, recommendations, and a host of other features, Yahoo! 360° lets you share what's interesting and important to you.

Our diverse community includes members from 18 years of age and from many countries and backgrounds. We provide these Community Guidelines to help keep the community safe and productive for everyone.

Some Do's and Don’ts when using Yahoo! 360°:

DO:

  • Use all the features of Yahoo! 360° to create the richest possible experience. Upload profile photos, fill out your basic info and lists, create a blog, post a blast . Add RSS feeds from content you create elsewhere on the Web, and share your Yahoo! reviews. The more you share with other members, the richer your interactions will be.

  • Be a valued member of the Yahoo! 360° community. It's easy to forget online, but there's a human being behind every Yahoo! 360° page, blog, photostream, photo album, and list. Be considerate and respectful. Give your Yahoo! 360° connections the same consideration you'd give them in person, and treat them the way you'd like to be treated.

  • Agree to disagree, respectfully. This applies to your interactions in blog comments, messages, and all other communications. If you disagree with someone, a bit of respectful debate is healthy, but please remember we all have the right to express our beliefs in a safe and respectful environment.

  • Mark your blog entries "mature content" if they contain nudity or adult-oriented content, including photos. Mark individual entries under “Options” in the blog compose screen, or set the default for your entire blog to "mature content" on the blog settings page. When you mark appropriate content as mature, you protect people under the age of 18 from viewing adult-oriented content, and you give yourself greater freedom of expression. (Content that you make public on Yahoo! 360° can be viewed by anyone, whether the person is logged in or not and regardless of age.)

  • Take action if you come across offensive content. If you are offended by content on a Yahoo! 360° page, you have options. You can leave the page and not visit it again. If the person is connected to you as a friend, you can remove the person from your Friends list. You can also ignore the person so you do not receive communications from the person. If you think the page contains a violation of the Yahoo! Terms of Service, you can report content, a person's behavior, or both by clicking the Report for Abuse link below the member's profile picture.

  • Enjoy Yahoo! 360°. Make new friends, see the world through other people's eyes, participate, and have fun!

DON'T:

  • Post text and other content that is sexually graphic or otherwise adult-oriented unless you mark it "mature content." We strive to keep Yahoo! 360° appropriate for all participants. Content that you make public on Yahoo! 360° can be viewed by anyone, whether the person is logged in or not and regardless of age. If you post adult content without marking it mature, it is subject to removal and you may receive a warning. If you repeatedly post "mature content" without marking it as such, your account may be deactivated.

  • Upload photos, text, or other content in public or private areas of Yahoo! 360° that violates state, federal, or local law. Illegal content does not belong in our community. If you post it, we will deactivate your account and take appropriate action that may include reporting you to the authorities.

  • Upload photos, text, or other content that violates copyright or other intellectual property laws. You may post copyrighted content only with permission from the owner. Respect copyright law and the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of third parties. If you post content that infringes these rights, we may deactivate your account.

  • Post content that is violent, racist, incendiary, or otherwise objectionable. Such content may be removed and your account may be deactivated. We want all our community members to feel safe and welcome here.

  • Harass, abuse, impersonate, or intimidate others. Being a valued member of our community includes being considerate and respectful of others. If we receive a valid complaint about your conduct, we will send you a warning or deactivate your account.

  • Use your Yahoo! 360° account to solicit or spam others. This includes selling goods or services and/or posting identical messages repeatedly to other members' blog comments, mailboxes, or other communication channels. If you spam or solicit others, your account may be deactivated.

Yahoo!'s Response to Violations Yahoo! does not edit Yahoo! 360° profiles, blogs, or other user-created content. But we reserve the right to remove content that we determine, in our sole discretion, is inappropriate and/or in violation of the Yahoo! 360° Community Guidelines or the Yahoo! Terms of Service. Depending on the level of offense, you may risk deactivation of your Yahoo! ID and everything associated with it, including email accounts, groups, posts, home pages, and profiles.

Your Responsibilities as a Yahoo! 360° Member Your use of Yahoo! 360° is subject to these guidelines and the Yahoo! Terms of Service. Yahoo! reserves the right to modify these guidelines at any time. If you are unsure whether your content is appropriate or consistent with these policies, please err on the side of caution and do not post it in Yahoo! 360°.
